Thieves pretend to be a beggar

DanangNguyen Thi Kim Phuong, 28 years old, posing as a beggar to find homes with no doors.

On April 19, Phuong was held criminally by the Son Tra District Police to investigate the theft of property. The female suspect has 5 convictions for this crime, fined a total of nearly 6 years in prison.

Phuong was accused of disguised as a beggar, wandering the streets looking for “target”. If she is suspected of acting, she will practice angrily begging, asking for money to dispel the suspicions.

Phuong was arrested on the evening of April 17 after breaking into a house in An Hai Dong ward (Son Tra district) stealing 10 million dong.

Before that, at 6 o’clock on March 13, Phuong sneaked into the house in Man Thai ward (Son Tra district), which was opening the gate, took two phones from the bedside when the homeowner was asleep.

Right after that, Phuong performed the second case at a construction camp at the intersection of Morríon – Vo Nghia street (Phuoc My ward, Son Tra district) and was caught by workers.

At the police station of Phuoc My ward, Phuong admitted the theft and asked to return the phone worth 2.8 million VND. The suspect cried, presenting the situation of raising a young child, so the ward police gave him bail. However, the suspect continued to commit the crime.
