Shocking video shows traffickers releasing a two-year-old baby over a 5-meter-high border wall on the US-Mexico border.
The 48-second video was posted by Aaron Heitke, head of the US Border Patrol Agency in San Diego, California, on April 14. Heitke said the incident happened three days earlier.
“Border Patrol agents have seen a trafficker drop a two-year-old baby from a 5.4-meter-high border wall into the hands of his father waiting on this side. This action could have serious consequences. Luckily the baby was not injured, “wrote Heitke.
Authorities later determined that both the father and the baby were Ghanaian citizens who entered the United States illegally.
The incident was recorded after two Ecuadorian sisters, five and three years old, respectively, were discovered into the United States in the same manner, when traffickers released the babies over a border fence into Texas territory. The two traffickers then quickly slipped deep into the Mexican border.
The Joe Biden administration refuses to admit a border crisis, even amid an unprecedented number of migrants flocking to the southern border, including unaccompanied children.
