New Delhi.Oppo launched its new smartphone Oppo A16 in the Indonesian market on Saturday. The new Oppo A16 is an upgraded variant of the handset Oppo A1 launched last year. Information about the Oppo A16 has been leaked several times before. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD + IPS LCD display, MediaTek Helio G35 processor, and a 13-megapixel triple-camera setup.

The Oppo A16 smartphone has been launched in a single variant. The device is priced at IDR 1,999,000 (approximately Rs. 10,200) in Indonesia. Oppo’s phone is available in Pearl Blue, Space Silver and Crystal Black.

The Oppo A16 has a 6.5-inch LCD HD + display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display panel has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The pixel density is 269 ppi. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. The handset has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded with a microSD card.

The Oppo A16 runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1. There is a fingerprint sensor on the edge of the phone which is integrated with the power button. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10 W charging. For photography, the Oppo A16 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f / 2.2. In addition, 2 megapixel mono and 2 megapixel macro sensors are also provided. For selfies and video calling, the handset has an 8-megapixel front camera with an aperture of f / 2.0.

Indians spend Rs 2,400 on smartphone servicing, Oppo being the most satisfactory brand

New Delhi: According to research firm Counterpoint, Indians spend around Rs 1,400 on out-of-warranty servicing of their smartphones. The firm said that one in four new smartphone purchases in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Noida are sent to the company’s service centers within six months.

According to the report, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and Samsung users in the country are more satisfied after buying a new phone. The company said that most of the charging software or hanging and display problems have to be faced.

Oppo is the most satisfying brand
After purchasing a smartphone from Chinese brand Oppo, 93% of the customers were satisfied. Vivo’s 85 per cent, Xiaomi’s 81 per cent and Samsung’s 81 per cent were 81 per cent satisfied. They get 73% return with brand satisfaction. About 72% of Oppo and Realmy users got the smartphone from the service center. 68% of Vivo users received the phone on the same day.

According to CountPoint, customers have received a response within 15 minutes of reaching the Oppo service center. This means that their waiting time is shorter than other companies. The waiting time of Realmy, Samsung, Xiaomi and Oppo is a bit longer. Oppo keeps its spare parts better than other brands.
