New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has decided to stop selling its cheap 5G phone OnePlus Nord in India. The company has stopped production of OnePlus Nord 5G for India. Therefore, only phones in stock will be sold. OnePlus Nord was introduced by the company on July 21, 2020. Exactly one year later, the company has decided to stop production. The OnePlus Nord 5G starts at Rs 24,999.

The OnePlus Nord smartphone was an entry level phone in the Nord series. Over the past year the company has launched the OnePlus Nord CE 5G under this series and more recently the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. Both these smartphones come with updated features. They are also priced at around the same as the OnePlus Nord 5G. So the company has now decided to turn off this phone.
