TRIAL – Without giving up the principles on which it has built its reputation, the Czech brand is entering the electric vehicle market with a particularly successful family SUV.
By 2025, Skoda hopes to ensure 25% of its sales with its rechargeable battery range which will have 10 models, including 5 electric. The first of this club of five is the Enyaq iV. This 4.65 m SUV attests that the Czech brand has changed status thanks to a more attractive style, without giving up a studied price / performance ratio and greater roominess than the average of its rivals. From the Volkswagen ID.4, from which it borrows the MEB platform and characteristics, the Enyaq iV manages to stand out with an elongated silhouette of 70 mm and a more developed sense of welcome.
This SUV can accommodate a family and their luggage. The central place is certainly not designed, as on many vehicles now, but the loading volume outclasses that of the VW by 42 liters to reach 585 liters and even 1710 liters, rear seat folded down. The space under the floor serves as storage for charging cables. The presentation and the furniture show that Skoda has nothing left
