“All our teams are fully mobilized to restore optimal service as quickly as possible”, continues the Cned. Contacted by franceinfo, the ministry of National Education confirms “new attacks”. They also affect Cned’s network provider, Renater.
These new disruptions occur less than 24 hours after a return to normal for the Cned platforms. MOn Wednesday noon, the Ministry of National Education had indicated that “All of the Cned’s distance education services had returned to normal. A few slowdowns in connections were reported without blocking access to the services”.
The cyber section of the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation into these cyberattacks on Wednesday, to “fraudulent access to an automated processing system” and “hinders the operation of such a system”. The investigation was entrusted to the Central Office for the Fight against Crime Related to Information and Communication Technologies (OCLCTIC).
